What is artificial intelligence (AI)?

Artificial intelligence is the ability of a computer to learn and think .Computers can do tasks that are done by people like language processing, learning and problem solving.Artificial intelligence is the simulation of human intelligence in machines that are programmed to think like humans and  mimic their actions. Artificial intelligence in the simplest form is the ability of a computer to do tasks that are usually done by a human .Built in assistants like Siri ,Alexas and Google assistant are the most obsivous examples of artificial intelligence that most of us are aware of and use daily.

The ideal characteristic of artificial intelligence is it's capability to rationalize and take actions  with the best chance of achieving a specific goal .A subset of artificial intelligence is machine learning (MI) which refers to the concept that computer systems can automatically do things on their own .

There are basically four types of artificial intelligence that are reactive, limited memory, theory of mind  and self aware. We have currently achievwd narrow artificial intelligence .

In summary the goal of artificial intelligence is to support for specific tasks like to provide software that can reason on input explain and output  . Artificial intelligence is not a replacement for humans and won't be anytime soon . Artificial intelligence would take off on its own and redesign itself  at an ever increasing rate so we have to minimize how we design it .

How artificial intelligence works

The concept of artificial intelligence (AI) has been around for decades, but it's only recently that computers have become powerful enough to perform tasks that were once thought to require human intelligence.

The first generation of AI was focused on solving specific problems like playing chess and reading text. The second generation of AI is focused on deep learning, which is a set of techniques that let computers learn how to solve problems without being explicitly programmed.

Deep learning lets machines improve over time by learning from examples and making inferences about the world. This means they can learn new skills as they encounter new situations or data while also understanding the underlying concepts behind them better than before.

One example of deep learning in action is Google's AlphaGo system, which beat Go champion Lee Sedol in a five-game match last year using nothing more than its own self-learning capabilities.
Artificial intelligence is a branch of computer science that aims to create machines capable of performing tasks that normally require human intelligence, such as visual perception and decision making.

The first AI programs were simple. They were similar to today's image recognition software, which is able to identify objects in pictures without any prior knowledge about them. Over the past few decades, AI has grown more sophisticated, and the applications are broadening.

AI today can help you navigate your way through complicated data or make decisions based on it. It can also help you find information in large databases — something that would have taken humans years to accomplish using traditional methods.

Impact of artificial intelligence on the world

The impact of artificial intelligence on the world is a topic that has been explored by many people. However, it is only recently that we have started to see the effects of AI in our everyday lives.

In this article, we will explore how artificial intelligence will affect our future, both positively and negatively.

The first wave of AI was focused on computer programming, but since then there has been an explosion in research into the field. The most recent wave of research has been around machine learning, which involves teaching computers how to identify patterns in data without being explicitly programmed to do so. This allows computers to learn new skills on their own, without having to be told explicitly how to do them.

Artificial intelligence will have a huge impact on our lives as a whole as well as within each individual's life. It will change jobs, make work more efficient and make people's lives easier at work and at home. However, it could also lead to job losses due to automation, which could result in significant socioeconomic issues across the globe if left unchecked.

AI is already changing how we work, how we live and how we think, but the implications of this technology are only now starting to be fully explored. We need to consider the impact of artificial intelligence on our daily lives in order to ensure that this new technology can be used for good rather than evil.

The first major impact of AI will be on jobs. In many ways, AI will create more jobs than it destroys because it can take over many repetitive tasks and replace them with automated processes. This means fewer people need to do those tasks, which frees up resources for other areas where humans have greater value.
